祖父も軍人さんだったので、素直に生きてくれていて良かったなと思います。
祖父が生きていなかったら、今の私はいないでしょうね。
祖父の家族が戦争で亡くなったのは本当に残念で、沖縄の慰霊碑に名前が刻まれているのが悲しいです・・・。
小学生の時の社会を教えてくれた先生が『あなたたちが大人になる頃には、また戦争の時代に戻っているかも知れません』と言っていたことが、今でも忘れられません。
戦争の時代に戻らないことを願っています。
